Very catchy.

My favorite part of the song is the part from 1:44 onwards, when the melody changes to C#,C,G#,D# and the background strings overpower even the pizzicato strings. You should run with that.

I like it.

As for an alternate title, how about "Final Descent"? I know this music would get me stoked for the final confrontation with the big bad in his underground lair.

Utterly uninspired.

You used all of two instruments, one of which was used to reproduce the treble notes, note-for-note, shifted up an octave to ear-bleeding levels. The other is a constant drum beat that doesn't change at all except for at the very end, but it's so subtle as to be practically non-existent.

Honestly, to call this an "HQ" remix is utterly laughable, because the original chiptune from the game is higher quality and better composed than this.

I was far from done u dumbass. I didnt use 2 instruments, i used over 10. It takes a good ear to hear them which is why i said HQ. I didnt shift up an octave, the origional was this octave. Ear bleeding? Hells no. Its just high pitched. I can understand ur hate for high pitched stuff, but its better than fucking dark toned remixes of shit. I maybe shouldve put beta on this because dumbasses like u are getting the wrong idea that im finished.

I kinda feel wrong about how I lashed out when you gave me some good advice XD. I made this when I was just starting out, and I was pretty immature back then. Im not going back to fix this, as its a memory of the past, but this isnt HQ and I know that. Still a 0 is kinda wrong isnt it? Thats like saying it just had no effort. Like at all. Anyway thanks for reviewing.

Technically good, but it feels very plain.

All the instruments used sound really bland together. It's a good remix, but there's nothing particularly memorable about it. Maybe if you had used some other instrument types like strings or piano, it would be a little more exciting.

That said, Even I have to admit that the current score is disproportionately low.

Well, as it is I'm just trying to learn to do one thing at a time, properly.
Once I've got the formula worked out, I'll go back around to square 1, the instruments used, and see what I can do there.
